Inventions and Products

Discovery is Indiana’s soundest investment. We’re putting our stock in research, and the returns are multiplying. IU researchers are finding new ways to fight and cure disease, protect the environment, and understand the complexities of the universe. IU research is big business for Indiana. We bring in more sponsored research dollars—more than $2.1 billion over the last five years—than all of Indiana’s public and private research universities combined.
