- Strategic land acquisition: The Mill successfully completed the acquisition of two out of three adjacent vacant lots from the City of Bloomington, finalizing the purchases in February 2025. The Mill is now actively marketing these parcels to attract new development partners.
- Major private investment secured: The third parel originally planned for acquisition by The Mill was secured directly by Alluinn Development, LLC for a boutique hotel project. The developer has increased the scope of the planned hotel to 170 keys (up from 150), raising the anticipated private investment to approximately $50 million.
