Cynthia Roberts is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership and Dean of the School of Business and Economics at Indiana University Northwest. She received her BS degree in medical technology from Northern Illinois University and worked in the healthcare field as a medical laboratory specialist, manager, and educator. Roberts received MS degrees in Organizational Development and Training and Development from Loyola University in Chicago and her PhD in Organization Development from Benedictine University. As a registered organization development consultant (RODC), she founded Strategic Learning Partners, Inc. a consulting practice dedicated to improving the effectiveness of leadership through staff and systems development.

Roberts has authored 23 publications and given 22 academic presentations related to leadership development, ethics, organizational change, and women’s advancement. She has also served as a professional speaker on numerous occasions. She is a member of the Academy of Management, International Leadership Association, International Society for Organization Development, Organization Development Network, and Society for Human Resource Management and serves as a regular reviewer for the Journal of Leadership Education, Journal of Organizational Change Management, and Studies in Higher Education.
